I just did a bunch before going on my emt shift
I'll be uploading them here in the next few days.
I've been posting my art on a variety of places but I'm still keeping my artblog up. I like being able to label my works on blogger, haha. I'll also being going through superfluous posts and and cutting out rants and other non-art related material now that I've a personal tumblr to do that with (shhh, it's a secret).
Oh! The food blog is still running, a bit slower since I'm trying to cut down on my baking. Check it out if you have a liking for salads and chocolate: mangiferin.tumblr.com/
On an unrelated note, I'm still on my first nib on my intuos4 pen, but it's visibly worn. I figure this is a good sign since I got the tablet almost two years ago and it's proof I've used the damn thing.
And...uh nothing else to report.

deviantART really changed since I had first joined and I apologise for the lack of any mutual feedback you may have expected. I DO see all the art being churned out by people I follow, but it's no longer a community I felt attached to.
Much of my interactions and art-ing are primarily done through tumblr with multiple social media channels being important for expanding visibility, and dA will not be deactivated as it IS still a decent sharing platform.
I hope to still socialise with much of my followers here, whether it's twitter, blogger, facebook, tumblr, or some lesser known avenues...do drop me a line!
Church Portraits
In the next few days or weeks, I'll be finishing up the last of the free portrait commissions of church youth and uploading them here. It started as an exercise to get to know a program I recently downloaded called MyPaint. Being with slower running computers much of my life, I can't use Photoshop without wanting to kill it ten minutes in so this seems pretty neat. I'm still exploring brushes and developing my methodology as a digital artist and I hope you all keep sticking around.

CHALLENGE MET
dA decided not to submit the four pages of mostly-non-girl-art and subsequent descriptions I did last weekend. :C
So I retyped everything to my art blog, made an abridged image for my facebook peeps and THEN dA read-only status is over. So I'm going to be lazy and just throw something on here.

yeah, oh man... my tablet pen nibs are so so worn! I replaced one once and it was so weird drawing with a fresh one, I changed the pen over again. They do last a long long time I think, even if they look worn, they're still ok.
